	We have endured a terrible experience at the hands of "Room with a View"/Gerry Harty. He took our money, took the roof off the house and then disappeared, resulting in water ingress damage. There followed months of disruption, broken promises and demands for more money. With winter approaching we have been forced to employ other contractors to get us weatherproof. This will in the end cost us £5,000-£10,000 more than the original quote. Gerry Harty does not care about the pain and distress he causes - he cares about nothing but himself and the money. Since the problems on our build started, we have discovered a significant number of people who have also been treated in this way over the past few years. It seems to be a habit. Do yourself a favour & stay well clear.
